No, there is no cost. How soon can I expect to be working on a project? We cannot guarantee your involvement on a project. Our project managers are regularly screening our e-Technician database, looking for technicians whose profiles fit the requirements of our customers' projects. This is why it is important that you complete your e-Technician profile accurately. You may find that an invitation to join a project comes quickly, or it may take several months. If you are selected for consideration on a project, we will send you an e-mail solicitation. As an e-Technician, you can log onto this site at any time, view project postings, and apply with an email to the project manager. What do you pay for work on projects? The pay varies with each project. There is a wide range. We pay by the site, or by the unit, instead of payment by the hour. We usually have an idea of what we can afford to pay, and you will be asked if that is a level sufficient to make it worth your while. You always have the option of declining a work request. How often do you make payment to your technicians? We pay every week. How is my work supervised? You would be reporting to one of our project managers. What are some examples of projects you have done? Installation of point of sale equipment, desktop computers, computer monitors, telephone systems, and servers. Will I be required to travel to sites? Travel requirements vary from project to project. In most cases some travel is required. You will be asked to set your price to include your travel costs, if any.
